Data protection

TOP 100 is committed to protecting your privacy online and to keeping you informed of your online rights. Please read the following information carefully and check back periodically as this information may change.

The use of this website is generally possible without entering any personal data. To the extent our website collects personal data (e.g. name, address, email) such collection is performed on a voluntary basis, as far as possible. We do not transfer any personal data to third parties without your explicit approval.

Server-Log-Files

This website collects data each time its services are accessed (so-called server log files). This data includes names of the websites and files accessed, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notifications indicating if the website was successfully accessed, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (previously visited site), IP address and the provider requesting data.

The log data is only used for statistical analysis, which enables the operation, safety and optimisation of the service, without associating it personally with the user or with any other kind of profiling, as required by law. The Provider of this website reserves the right to review the log data, however, if there is concrete evidence which reasonably suggests that there has been an unlawful use of the service.

Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of information that our web servers send to your browser and that is stored on your computer. Alternatively, cookies may be also written and read from your hard drive by scripts in our pages. Cookies allow to store information about your past interaction with the site. Cookies may be temporary, which are deleted by your browser after you end the session (exit the browser), or permanent, which may be stored in your hard drive for days, months, or even years.

One of the purposes of cookies is to simplify the use of the service. A cookie will save the user’s login details, for example, so that he does not need to log in every time. Cookies are also used for statistical or marketing purposes to determine how the service is used. This collection takes place anonymously or pseudonymously, which means that the data is stored without being connected to a specific user.

Security

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. We will store all the personal information you provide on our hosting provider’s secure (password- and firewall- protected) servers.

Of course, data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet. You are responsible for keeping your password and user details confidential. We will not ask you for your password (except when you log in to the website).

Third party websites

The website contains links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of third party websites.

Analytic tools

Based on our legitimate interests, we use the „Matomo“ service to optimise and analyse our online offering within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. Data Protection Regulation, which is offered by InnoCraft Ltd (150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, NZBN 6106769). The service (Matomo) uses „cookies“ – text files that are stored on your terminal device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Matomo server in Germany and stored there, so that technically no third country transfer takes place. Insofar as a data transfer to InnoCraft’s company headquarters takes place outside the EEA, this is secured by an EU adequacy decision for New Zealand.

We have set Matomo in such a way that IP addresses are only processed in abbreviated form in order to limit direct personal references. Through IP anonymisation, the end of your IP address is replaced by zeros directly after collection.

Under the terms of the data protection agreement that we, as website operators, have concluded with Matomo, Matomo uses the information collected to evaluate website use and website activity and provides services related to internet use.

The data collected by Matomo on our behalf is used to evaluate the use of our online offering by individual users, e.g. to create reports on website activity in order to improve our online offering.

You have the option of preventing cookies from being stored on your device by making the appropriate settings in your browser. It is not guaranteed that you will be able to access all functions of this website without restrictions if your browser does not allow cookies.
